Fern River Resort - Family Destination near Mineta San Jose International
Fern River Resort, a family-owned business in the Santa Cruz Mountains, offers cabins for family trips, getaways, weddings, corporate retreats, and events. The resort features redwood trees, a river, and proximity to state parks. Located 55 km from Mineta San Jose International, the resort strives to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. A sun strewn manicured meadow lined with lilacs, lilies, pear trees, wild strawberries and flanked with ivy, bay trees and redwoods will provide the perfect backdrop for ceremony and reception site. The resort is close to Henry Cowell State Park, Natural Bridges State Park, Ano Nuvo, and the Bigfoot Museum. It offers four event locations: Arbor Garden, Redwood Gazebo Meadow, River Overlook and cocktail lawn. The river in front of property is lazy and safe for children and between knee and waist deep.

Cabins
Fern River Resort provides 15 cabins accommodating up to 62 guests. Cabins have kitchens with full-size appliances, including a stove and oven. Each cabin includes a drip coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, and outdoor barbeque. Most cabins were built by the Martin family. Cabins with futons include extra blankets, sheets, and pillows.
